Our Services

Basic Obedience

$45 per hour session (in person or virtual)

Up to 1 hour of 1 on 1 coaching to teach basic obedience including but not limited to crate training, leash manners, recall, ect. This would be ideal for young dogs or dogs needing to learn the basics.

Puppy Preschool

$45 per hour session (in person or virtual)

Up to 1 hour of 1 on 1 training to set you and your new puppy up for success. We will cover topics such as potty training, enrichment, teething, socialization, crate training, leash manners and more!

Service Dog Training

$160 for 4 sessions (in person or virtual)

4, 1 hour long sessions either in person or virtually. Training plan tailored to your specific needs and training goals. This bundle can cover basic obedience, crate training, reactivity, leash manners, ect.

Puppy Bootcamp Bundle

$160 for 4 sessions (in person or virtual)

4, 1 hour long sessions either in person or virtually. Training plan tailored to your specific needs and training goals. This bundle can cover basic socialization, crate training, potty training, manners, foundations for obedience, ect.

Meet the Trainer: Grace Floreske

Hi, my name is Grace! I am the owner and trainer at CK9. My love for dog training began in college when I volunteered as a puppy raiser for a service dog organization. I raised 2 dogs from that organization and both have become amazing service dogs for their recipients.

I spent 5 years working in veterinary medicine before switching gears to turn my hobby and passion for dog training into a full time job.

I now have a 1 year old doberman (pictured) as my part time service dog and a young poodle that is my service dog in training.

I strictly use Force Free techniques with my training. This means I do not use aversive tools such as but not limited to prongs or e-collars. My training focuses on building relationship’s and teaching owners to effectively communicate with their dogs.

  • Force Free is a method of training dogs (or any animal) without using force, coercion, intimidation or inflicting pain on the animal.

  • Positive reinforcement is a section of operant conditioning that aims to increase the likelihood or probability that a behavior will occur. It strengthens a behavior by adding something pleasurable as a reward after the occurrence of the behavior.

  • Each dog learns at their own rate. The number of sessions will depend on the amount of time it takes for your dog to understand a skill and your confidence to work through the skill without my assistance.

  • A service dog is a dog specifically trained to mitigate an individual's disability by performing tasks.

  • Yes! Service dog training will be a case by case basis. I will evaluate your service dog prospect to ensure the dog is a good candidate.

    Tasks we offer may include medical alert, item retrievals, behavior disruption, crowd control and non weight bearing mobility tasks. If a task you are looking for is not listed, please reach out!

  • We will meet via zoom for 1 hour to discuss your problem behaviors and how to work through them. We will create a training plan custom to your dog and I will use my dog to demo exercises that I recommend to you.
