Meet the Trainer: Grace Floreske, KPA-CTP
Hi, my name is Grace! I am the owner and trainer at CK9. My love for dog training began in college when I volunteered as a puppy raiser for a service dog organization. I raised 2 dogs from that organization and both have become amazing service dogs for their recipients.
I spent 5 years working in veterinary medicine before switching gears to turn my hobby and passion for dog training into a full time job.
I now have a 1 year old doberman (pictured) as my part time service dog.
I strictly use methods that do not require aversive tools or corrections. This means I do not use tools such as prong or e-collars. I focus on teaching clients how to effectively communicate with their dog while prioritizing the relationship between dog & guardian.

These sessions can last up to one hour on zoom. During each session, we will focus on areas where you are facing challenges or have concerns and create a detailed plan for moving forward.
I will assign training exercises as "homework" to be completed between sessions, similar to in-person sessions. You will send me videos of your practice, which I will review and provide feedback on in our next session. This part of virtual training is crucial as it helps bridge the gap of not training in person.
